Ireland: 10 dead after explosion at petrol station in County Donegal
Ten people - including two teenagers and a young girl - have been confirmed dead after an explosion at a petrol station in Ireland.
Friday afternoon’s devastating blast, in the village of Creeslough, County Donegal, ripped through the service station and nearby buildings.
On Saturday, police said the death toll had risen from three to seven overnight and officials expect the number of fatalities to increase as the search operation continues.
Teams from both sides of the Irish border have been involved in the major emergency response.
