Helicopter lifts woman to safety after she gets stranded on cliff in Italy
A woman was airlifted to safety by a helicopter after getting stranded on a cliff while climbing in Italy.
Footage shared by the Italian fire and rescue service shows the climber being pulled safely into the chopper on the coast of Moneglia.
Local reports have confirmed that a second person died after being swept into the water before the rescue team arrived.
The 30-year-old rock climber is said to have been hit by a wave while he was recovering a rope that had fallen on the rocks.
