‘Harry Kane finally scored!’ - Boris Johnson celebrates goal as England beat Germany

Footage of Boris Johnson celebrating England’s second goal against Germany on Tuesday evening has gone viral.

The prime minister can be seen clapping and letting out a cheer as he watches the ball hit the back of the net.

“It’s Harry Kane! Harry Kane has finally scored,” Johnson says when he realises the goalscorer, much to the amusement of those around him.

The captain’s 86th-minute header sealed victory for England at Wembley and The Three Lions will go on to face Ukraine in the quarter-finals of Euro 2020 this weekend.
