How The Grinch almost stole Christmas as police bodycam captures culprit in action
The Grinch almost stole Christmas for families in South Carolina, before he was caught red-handed by police.
Pickens Police received a call of a “burglary” in process on the evening of 12 December with reports of a suspect described as furry and green, wearing a Santa hat and jacket.
A police spokesman said: “The suspect was identified as The Grinch and is linked to several burglaries around town where presents and Christmas trees were stolen along with onions from the kitchen. We are happy to announce that The Grinch is in custody. The Grinch has been charged with 1st-degree stealing Christmas and 3rd-degree onion breath. Have a Merry Christmas!”
