TV reporter runs for cover as explosion goes off at site of Greece wildfires
A reporter ducked for cover as a burning house exploded behind her amid wildfires in Greece.
Alexandroupolis region in northern Greece has been ravaged by a major wildfire that has been burning for days, local authorities said on Tuesday (22 August).
Alpha TV journalist Afroditi Spilioti was reporting from Avanta when a blast occurred at a property burning behind her.
Firefighters have found the bodies of 18 people near a shack in Avanta, according to Ioannis Artopios, a fire service spokesperson said.
