Girl, 12, recalls moment she was put into induced coma after vaping: ‘I didn’t know if I would come out’
A 12-year-old girl has recalled the moment she was put into an induced coma after vaping.
Sarah Griffin was taken to hospital after feeling unwell. It was there an X-ray of her lungs showed only one of them was working.
Within a few hours she was in intensive care where she remained for several days.
Sarah has recovered but has been left with permanent damage to her lungs.
She told This Morning: “I was in an X-ray room and then got put into a side room. All the doctors came in and were staring at me.
“I started texting my mummy and friends and said I didn’t know if was out getting out.”
