Little-known reason TV presenters were dressed in pink for the election
Those tuning into the General Election across the likes of the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4 may have noticed that many of the presenters were wearing pink for the occasion - and for good reason.
Laura Kuenssberg wore a rose-coloured blazer, Krishnan Guru-Murthy a magenta tie, and Romilly Weeks a blush spotted shirt.
Simply put: It's because pink is one of the only non-politically affiliated colours.
Red might be associated with Labour, blue the conservatives, and even yellow for the lib-dems, but when voting is underway, it's important for those delivering us the action to remain impartial with their reporting.
