Cringe! Steve Baker smiles while told he has under 1% chance of winning vote
Steve Baker smiled through the pain of being told he has a 1% chance of winning the vote in his constituency this evening (4 July).
The camera cut to Mr Baker when BBC’s Reeta Chakrabarti said: “Steve, I’m sorry to be putting you up here on the screen like this but, you know, we are giving you a less than 1% chance of hanging on to your seat.”
He was first voted in as the MP for Wycombe in 2010.
Also predicted to have a less than 1% chance of winning his vote is former Conservative leader Iain Duncan Smith in his constituency of Chingford.
