Watch: New Zealand broadcaster films election result ‘weeks in advance’ as outcome was ‘so predictable’
New Zealand broadcaster Newshub have gone viral after using a clip for the UK election results that was recorded weeks prior.
Speaking to the camera from outside Downing Street, presenter Lisette Reymer teased: “The change in power has appeared inevitable for months - if not years.”
She then quipped: “Today’s result was so predictable I was able to confidently film this weeks in advance before flying home to New Zealand.”
The Conservatives have lost over 240 seats in this election, and Labour will take government for the first time in 14 years.
