Passengers sit in the dark at San Francisco airport after power outage
Footage shows passengers sitting in the dark in Terminal 2 of San Francisco International Airport after a power outage.
The outage affected ticketing, baggage and gates at the airport on Tuesday night (12 June), according to officials.
While some lights were still working, a video shared by Justin Wood on Twitter shows many passengers sitting at a dark departure gate.
Some flights to SFO were diverted to San Jose Mineta International Airport, and some were cancelled, according to NBC.
The outage was reported around 8:30pm and all power was restored before 10pm, with the airport apologising for the inconvenience in a Twitter statement.
