Drone shots show smouldering buildings northwest of Kyiv following Russian strikes

Drone footage filmed in Ukraine has shown multiple apartment blocks in ruins, as they smoulder following an attack from the Russian military.

The harrowing clip shows the north-west region of the city looking deserted amid the country’s brutal attack from Russia.

It’s now been over a week since president Vladimir Putin announced a “military operation” would go ahead.
