Dominic Cummings gives evidence on PM’s Covid response

Dominic Cummings, Boris Johnson’s former advisor, has been giving evidence to MPs on the government’s handling of the Covid pandemic.

Cummings has fast become one of the PM’s most vocal critics since leaving his post last year after a reported falling out with Johnson.

The former No 10 special advisor has said that he thought Health Secretary Matt Hancock should have been fired for at least “15-20 things” and that the PM wanted to get England’s CMO Chris Whitty to inject him with Covid-19 live on TV.
