Doctor says she worked 12 to 14 hour days with no time for toilet breaks
A doctor has revealed how she worked 12 to14-hour days without having time to go to the toilet.
The doctor, called Sarah, took part in an LBC phone-in on the pressures faced by NHS staff on Wednesday (27 March).
She told presenter James O’Brien: “There’s a sort of iceberg infographic where people only think GPs have two sessions a day. There’s 101 other things that means we do not stop.
“My pay would only cover 40 hours a week. I would work 12 to 14 hours a day with barely having time to go to the toilet.”
