Democrat Senator's dramatic 'no' vote on $15 minimum wage
Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema voted "no" in a dramatic fashion on Friday against a $15 federal minimum wage. The Democrat voted against the wage rise, which was proposed as part of a Covid-19 relief package. Ms Sinema gave a dramatic thumbs down on the Senate floor, to vote against moving forward with the debate, breaking with fellow Arizona Sen Mark Kelly, who voted in favor of the Sen Bernie Sanders-led measure. In total seven Democrats crossed party lines to vote against the debate.
