Mark Gordon arrives at Crawley Police Station ahead of court appearance
Mark Gordon arrived at Crawley Police Station on Friday, 3 March, ahead of his appearance at Crawley Magistrates Court.
Gordon, 48, of no fixed address appeared in court with his partner, Constance Marten, charged with gross negligence manslaughter after the remains of a baby were found in an allotment shed in Brighton on Wednesday, 1 March.
The pair are also accused of concealing the birth of a child and perverting the course of justice, the Metropolitan Police has said.
The infant has not yet been formally identified.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Friday, 3 March.
