Chauvin prosecutor says he felt 'a little bad’ for the killer police officer
Minnesota AG and the top prosecutor of ex-police officer Derek Chauvin said he “felt a little bad” for the man convicted of murdering George Floyd.
Keith Ellison was asked by CBS host Scott Pelley of what he thought when he first heard the words “guilty”.
Ellison said: “I spent 16 years as a criminal defence lawyer. So, I will admit, I felt a little bad for the defendant.”
“I think he deserved to be convicted. But he’s a human being,” the attorney added.
