California police officer shoots and kills Black man seconds after he tells him to drop knife
A white deputy sheriff from Danville, California fatally shot a Black man on a busy intersection last month, in new footage posted online.
The graphic video, filmed on a bodycam, sees Andrew Hall approach 33-year-old Tyrell Wilson after suspecting him of throwing rocks at cars.
Wilson responds by saying “don’t f***ing touch me”, before brandishing a knife.
Seconds later, Hall pulls out his gun and calls on Wilson to drop the weapon, before firing a shot.
The video’s release came on the same day that Hall was charged with the manslaughter and assault of an unarmed Filipino man more than two years ago.
