Watch: Disney fan sings Moana song during brain tumour surgery
This is the incredible moment a woman sings along to Disney’s Moana soundtrack, while undergoing surgery to remove a brain tumour.
Krystina Vied of Keansburg, New Jersey, was awake suring her surgery and was asked to sing throughout the procedure to help preserve her speech, through the use of Quicktome Brain mapping technology.
Krystina said: “I was definitely very nervous that I was going to be awake for the surgery, but very excited that Dr Patel said that he wanted me to sing because I love singing. I sing all the time.”
