Boris Johnson says protecting the environment isn’t just about 'bunny hugging'
Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that protecting the world’s climate is not about “bunny-hugging”, in a message to world leaders taking part in a climate summit hosted by US President Joe Biden. Speaking to attendees, Johnson said: “It’s vital for all of us to show that this is not all about some expensive, politically correct, green act of bunny-hugging, or however you want to put it.” Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has since commented on the politician’s remarks, changing her bio on Twitter to now read “bunny hugger”.
