Boris Johnson confirms he will publish communications with James Dyson

The prime minister has confirmed that he will release communications with businessman James Dyson, as a scandal over government lobbying continues. It comes after the BBC published text messages sent between Johnson and Dyson, reportedly from March 2020, about ventilator supplies. “If you think there’s anything remotely dodgy ... about trying to secure more ventilators at a time of a national pandemic, and doing everything in your power to do that, then I think you’re out of your mind,” the prime minister said.
