Bill Nighy says IVF film ‘Joy’ one of ‘nicest jobs’ he’s ever had
Actor Bill Nighy said his latest role in the film ‘Joy’ was one of the nicest jobs he’s ever had, as he attended the premiere at London Film Festival on Tuesday.
The new film tells the origin story of ‘in vitro fertilisation’ (IVF) through the medical trailblazers who worked on the world’s first test-tube baby.
The world’s first test-tube baby, Louise Joy Brown, was also in attendance alongside Nighy at the London premiere.
The film features performances from James Norton and Thomasin McKenzie and will be released on Netflix on 22 November 2024.
