Avon and Somerset Police break up illegal gatherings
Avon and Somerset Police have broken up a house party and a pub lock-in, both of which were in breach of current Covid regulations.
Body cam footage shows police officers breaking up the two illegal gatherings in Taunton and Bristol.
The house party was reported to police at about 11pm on 23 April in Bristol.
Six people in their 20s received an £800 fixed-penalty notice for organising a house party of more than 15 people.
Officers were also called to a pub in Taunton and observed people inside the premises drinking and dancing.
Seven fixed-penalty notices were issued at the premises.
