Ring doorbell footage captures the moment a woman’s screams are heard as a soldier is stabbed near barracks in Kent.
The footage was captured on Alex and Natasha Reynolds’s Ring doorbell, close to the scene of the Gillingham stabbing on Tuesday afternoon (23 July).
Locals rushed to help the serviceman after he was stabbed with what witnesses described as two 10in kitchen knives before the knifeman fled the scene on a moped.
The victim was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition after he was found with stab wounds in Sally Port Gardens at around 5.55pm.
Kent Police arrested a 24-year-old local man on suspicion of attempted murder at the scene minutes later.
