Killer’s chilling 999 call after murdering mother on her doorstep in ‘random attack’ while baby slept upstairs
A murderer confessed to killing a stranger as she sat on the doorstep of her home while her 15-month-old baby slept upstairs in a chilling 999 call.
Anthony Stinson, 31, of Queen Victoria Street, Blackburn, attacked Charlotte Wilcock at her house on Primrose Terrace on 3 March.
Stinson rang 999 the next morning and confessed “I think I’ve killed them,” claiming that he had been suffering psychosis.
However, police found that Stinson made rap videos with a friend with lyrics referring to killing someone less than an hour before the murder.
Stinson was jailed for life with a minimum of 24 years and two months.
