Amanda Gorman read her poem The Hill We Climb at the inauguration of Joe Biden - it has now been restricted at a Florida school.

The US National Youth Poet Laureate's composition will only be available to middle school students at the Bob Graham Education Center in Miami Lakes after it was one of several texts reportedly challenged by a parent for referencing critical race theory or gender ideology.

"Robbing children of the chance to find their voices in literature is a violation of their right to free thought and free speech," Ms Gorman said.
