Kanye West has upcoming YouTube show episode scrapped due to ‘hate speech’
A pre-recorded episode with Kanye West for YouTube show The Shop: Uninterrupted will not be released after the rapper allegedly used “hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes” in the interview.
Maverick Carter, a co-producer of the show told Andscape that the episode will not air as the show has “zero tolerance for hate speech of any kind”.
"I believed he was capable of a respectful discussion and he was ready to address all his recent comments. Unfortunately, he used The Shop to reiterate more hate speech and extremely dangerous stereotypes," a statement said.
Ye was banned from Twitter on 9 October after making antisemitic comments.
