YouTube pranksters share how Just Stop Oil ‘secretly’ communicate to deter police
YouTubers who pranked Just Stop Oil say that the group uses an encrypted messaging service to keep their activities secret.
Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, known for their stunts under Josh & Archie, said they had a “mole” working in the group for around a week, who revealed that the protesters use the Signal app to communicate “so that the police can’t get involved.”
The YouTubers pranked Just Stop Oil by setting off alarms and attaching them to balloons during a meeting in London on 23 July.
Speaking to Good Morning Britain, Manners described the stunt as “essentially very childish.”
