Moment doctor discovers tiny spider living deep inside woman’s ear
Doctors who discovered a tiny spider living deep inside a woman’s ear have shared footage of their shocking discovery.
The woman had ended up seeking treatment at a specialist clinic in Taiwan back in April, after getting a strange sensation in her left ear, which left her unable to sleep.
According to reports, she could feel something moving inside and kept hearing clicking and rustling sounds.
Doctors from Tainan Municipal Hospital found the small spider scurrying in the 64-year-old woman’s ear canal.
The spider had also discarded its outer shell, which it left nearby.
Doctors used a tube-like device to suck the spider out.
