TikToker offers unusual gift in ‘welcome basket’ for overnight guests

A TikTok user has put some unique touches to a "welcome basket" she says she gives to guests staying at her house.

Melissa Metrano documented the process of converting her guest room ready for someone to sleep in.

The mother-of-two turns a sofa into a bed, with an orange comforter and decorative pillows, before arranging a basket of gifts on the bed.

While the basket features more common necessities such as towels and water, a raw sweet potato is nestled among the items.
