Watch: Lurking tiger shark’s razor sharp teeth seen in underwater footage
This fascinating footage shows two tiger sharks chomping down on an explorer’s GoPro camera.
Scott Miller was at Oskaloosa Island Pier, Florida, on 16 July, when he decided to drop his GoPro Max into the water below to get a closer look at the sea life.
One tiger shark instantly swims over to the gadget and chomps down on it with its sharp teeth before Mr Miller is able to pull it away.
Just moments after the camera hit the seabed again a second shark swims over and grabs it before running away with it in its throat for a further 14 seconds.
Mr Miller said: “In some way, my setup must have looked inviting, although tiger sharks are known to eat just about anything.”
