Santa Paws: Dogs don festive outfits to attend Christmas pageant
Dogs from across the UK took part in a Christmas-themed pageant in west Yorkshire this weekend, with the pups being judged on their festive outfits.
The theme for this year’s Furbabies Pageant, held in Collingham, was Ebenezer Scrooge from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.
Around 90 dogs came along to take part in the show, with director Philip Hodgkins revealing there were all types of different breeds in attendance, "from Afghan hounds right down to Chihuahuas".
Owners and their pups even travelled from as far afield as Portsmouth to attend the pageant.
