Dark Knight star Colin McFarlane shares advice to men after prostate cancer diagnosis
The Dark Knight star Colin McFarlane has urged men to take regular blood tests after his prostate cancer diagnosis.
The actor, 61, currently does not need any treatment and shared his advice to others on BBC Breakfast during an appearance on Monday 12 June.
“Please do what I did, and do your regular blood tests,” McFarlane said, adding that he was “lucky” to catch it early.
“There are no symptoms in the early stages... if you wait until you’ve got pain, which is often back pain, that actually means its probably starting to spread and that’s not good.”
