Watch: Man pretends to be mannequin to steal from shopping centre after it closed
CCTV footage shows a thief pretending to be a mannequin in a window display before stealing from a shopping centre in Poland.
The 22-year-old suspect took jewellery and ate in a restaurant before going under a store’s metal curtain to swap his clothes for new ones, Warsaw police said.
Authorities said the man was eventually seen by security staff who called the police.
Police said the suspect had also stolen money from cash tills from another shopping centre, where he also tried to steal other items after it closed.
He could face up to ten years in prison for his alleged crimes.
