Martin Lewis explains how 18- 39-year olds can get bonus £1,000 towards first home

Martin Lewis has explained how those aged between 18 and 39 can get an extra £1,000 towards purchasing their first home.

Speaking on This Morning, The MoneySavingExpert revealed the potential benefits to be reaped from a Lifetime ISA - even if a person puts away just £1 into an account to get it started.

“If there’s a parent watching this and you have an 18- or 19-year-old, tell them to get a quid in a Lifetime ISA... That starts the facility, then you’ve got the money ready to get that bonus when you need it sooner,” Lewis said.
