Martin Lewis has shared his five steps toward slashing mobile phone costs ahead of the upcoming hikes in April.

The money-saving guru warned that average phone costs are due to go up by 17 per cent at the beginning of the month.

He explained that this can hit even those who are in the middle of their contract.
