CCTV captures koala casually walking across station to catch a train
A koala has been captured casually walking around a Sydney station before appearing to wait patiently on a platform for a train.
The koala squeezed through a fence at Casula station just after 4.15 am on Friday (4 October), with CCTV following the animal as it made its way through the station to a platform, where it stood dangerously over the yellow line on the edge.
Transport for NW shared the footage on its Facebook page, saying: “This un-bear-ably cute passenger found its way onto the platform at Casula station last week. While it took a self-guided tour of the station, a train guard notified the Security Control Centre, and incoming trains were warned to slow down when passing through the area.
“With the guidance of some NSW police officers, it found its way back to the bush safe and sound.”
