King Charles plants tree in memory of Queen with German president during Berlin visit
King Charles III joined Frank-Walter Steinmeier to plant a tree in memory of Queen Elizabeth II during his visit to Germany on Wednesday, March 29.
The monarch and the German president came together to shovel soil in a spot where an ash tree was positioned as part of the late Queen's Green Canopy initiative at Schloss Bellevue presidential palace in Berlin.
This week's trip is the King and Queen Consort's first state visit to Germany since His Majesty became monarch.
