Kanye West devalues Malibu home by $14m after makeover

Kanye West's makeover of his $53m Malibu mansion has decreased its value by $14m.

The 3,665-square-foot home, designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, once featured clouded ocean-facing glass windows but has now been stripped of plumbing and electricity.

It appears to have been completely hollowed out, with gaps where living quarters such as bedrooms and kitchens would be.

Marble-clad bathrooms, an indoor fireplace, and a concrete hot tub have also been removed.

The house was listed at $39m in April this year.
