Couple pay $12,000 to have 450,000 bees removed from farmhouse wall
A horrified family in Pennsylvania had a shock when they had to pay $12,000 to remove 450,000 bees from inside the walls of a newly brought farmhouse in Pennsylvania.
Sara Weaver and her husband purchased an 1872 farmhouse in the township of Shippack last fall and were shocked to find out they had 450,000 bees living in the walls for almost 35 years.
Sarah Weaver told CNN: “On the seller’s disclosure it said ‘bees in wall’...it didn’t even cross my mind but when spring arrived that’s when we started to see them.”
