Coronation garden party takes place in Mayfair to celebrate King Charles crowning

Royal fans got into the spirit of the coronation as they celebrated King Charles III’s crowning at an outdoor gathering in Mayfair, London.

To mark the historic event, Grosvenor Square is hosting a free garden party on 6 and 7 May and partygoers turned up to enjoy the first day despite unwelcome weather conditions.

Royal fans came from far and wide - including from Düsseldorf in Germany - to witness the crowning of Charles.
