Moment crowd rushes forwards to get place in front of Buckingham Palace
Crowds filled The Mall following the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla, ahead of the couple’s appearance on the balcony at Buckingham Palace.
The newly-crowned monarch was joined by members of the royal family to watch the flypast on Saturday afternoon (6 May) and despite unfavourable weather conditions, thousands of people turned out to catch a glimpse of the balcony.
Footage shows many people waving Union Jack flags and holding umbrellas as they made their way down The Mall, desperate to find a spot close to the palace.
