Reporter suffers amusing technical glitch during live report
BBC correspondent Shaimaa Khalil suffered an amusing technical glitch that made her voice sound like a robot during a live report on Tuesday 18 July.
Speaking from Melbourne, the journalist was explaining a decision from the Victoria state premier to terminate their Commonwealth Games contract.
While the first few seconds of Khalil’s report sounded normal, her voice soon turned robotic due to the glitch.
“Apologies for the technical problems there, this is a developing story, we’ll have more on that throughout the morning,” Mike Bushell said, as BBC Breakfast cut back to the studio.
