Moment bird of prey attacks drone in mid-air
This is the dramatic moment bird of prey attacked a drone in mid-air before dropping it into a forest.
Footage shows a kestrel in Zhangjiajie, China, grabbing the unmanned aerial vehicle with its talons before flying away with the device.
The bird later drops the drone, discarding it into the greenery below, as it films itself falling to the ground.
China has listed the common kestrel as a second-class protected species.
The global population of kestrels is estimated at 1-2 million pairs.
