Moment cat stuck inside boat’s hull after fire is rescued by firefighters
This is the moment firefighters pull a cat stuck inside a boat’s hull to safety following a blaze on the vessel.
A fire broke out on the boat in Pittwater, Australia last week and the vessel was towed to shallow batters after firefighters extinguished the flames.
A few days later, a concerned resident heard meowing inside the hull and called emergency services for assistance.
The rescue team used a battery-powered saw to cut a hole in the boat structure. Firefighter Matt Carter then gently pulled the feline out.
The crew then took him to the vet, where besides being covered in soot, dehydrated, and hungry, he seemed to be fine.
