Moment scientists discover huge alligator inside body of 18-foot Burmese python

Florida scientists have captured the moment they discovered the body of an alligator inside the stomach of an 18-foot-long Burmese python.

Burmese pythons have to be euthanised in the state, and the necropsy was performed after they saw the snake's bulging stomach.

Rosie Moore, one of those involved, admitted she had to leave the room because the smell was so bad - but the body of the creature appeared to be in tact.
