Viral Belle Isle Giant Slide reopens with slower speeds
Belle Isle Giant Slide in Detroit has reopened with 'slower speeds' after it went viral for its wild bumps - which forced it to close.
The Department of Natural Resources believes it has resolved its speed issues by cleaning it with water and removing some of the wax.
"We go on social media and we're getting calls from Japan of people wanting to know about the slide," park manager Karis Flloyd said.
The 80-foot slide has been open for 55 years, and costs one dollar for five goes.
