Amsterdam tells British men looking for ‘messy night’ to ‘stay away’ in new campaign
Amsterdam has told British men who are thinking of coming to the Dutch capital for a "messy night" to stay put.
The new campaign targets what's dubbed locally as "nuisance tourism," and highlights the consequences of coming to the city for a wild weekend.
This video is one of the clips released as part of the campaign, and warns that rowdy behaviour will land you with a criminal record.
City officials have been making moves to clean up Amsterdam, specifically the De Wallen area which is home to the Red Light District, to "keep our city liveable."
