'Absolutely taken over by nature': Couple explore eerie abandoned school in Hertfordshire

A couple have revealed what it’s like inside an abandoned school, with some rooms left looking like lessons have never stopped.

Becky Starr and partner Rikki from Stevenage, found the building in Hertfordshire and were able to explore inside on 22 January.

Once inside, they found classrooms, the assembly hall and even the old canteen, still full of kitchen equipment.

Many of the rooms still had chairs and other items left behind when the building closed in 2015 with this school was merged with another.
