Vanessa Feltz reveals mother put her on a diet aged nine
Vanessa Feltz has revealed her mother put her on a diet when she was just nine years old.
The TV personality opened up about her weight struggles when she appeared on ITV’s Loose Women on Thursday (24 October) to promote her new book Vanessa Bares All.
The 62-year-old told the Loose Women panel: “ I did this thing which my parents never really forgave me for, which is called developing. You start to get very tiny bosoms, I was about nine, my mum rushed me off to the specialist to ask "What's going on with her?"
“They said ‘Well Mrs. Feltz she's developing" and my grandma said ‘That's ridiculous, she's only nine’, almost as if I'd done it on purpose, which of course I hadn't.”
