Jessica Chastain trips over her dress while walking onstage at SAG Awards

Jessica Chastain tripped over her dress as she walked onstage to collect a SAG Award on Sunday night (26 February).

The 45-year-old actor was accepting her gong for Best Female Actor in a Television Movie or Series for her role as Tammy Wynette in George & Tammy.

Speaking to Access Hollywood afterwards, the Good Nurse star explained that she was “shaking.”

“I’m like ‘OK I’m gonna need help up the stairs’ and then I started to trip,” she said.

The star was helped onto the stage by Cortney B Vance and Paul Mescal.
